Ydenberg Properties Ltd. traces its foundations back thirty-nine years with its founder Rudolf J. Ydenberg. After a distinguished career as a realtor – purchasing, developing, leasing, and selling commercial properties in British Columbia, Rudolf Ydenberg gained title to the Fort St. James Shopping Centre and began what would grow into a fine portfolio of commercial properties. The Fort St. James Shopping Centre has remained the cornerstone of a growing portfolio of profitable real estate holdings, which now include The Evergreen Centre, and Mackenzie Town Centre in Mackenzie B.C., and the Royal Alexander Apartments in Duncan, B.C.

In 2000, Darcy White joined Ydenberg Properties and assumed the active management of the company. In the last three years Darcy has overseen the structural reorganization of the holdings and the incorporation of Ydenberg Properties Ltd.

Over the past few years Ydenberg Properties Ltd. has undertaken a management agreement with Rho Orion Investments [link to web page]. This exciting step places nearly 100,000 sq. ft. of multi-tenant residential apartments under management and includes an ownership percentage.

In the future Ydenberg Properties Ltd. will continue to grow company revenues through purchases of more profitable community retail centres, multi- tenant housing and management agreements.
