Rudolf J. Ydenberg | Founder
(Rudy) was licensed as a Commercial Realtor in BC in 1967. His 47-year career in real estate includes building, developing & selling some of BC’s finest regional shopping centres. He remained actively involved as the President of Ydenberg Properties Ltd. up until he passed away on February 14th, 2017.
Over the past 60 years Rudy has served on the boards of many charitable foundations and organizations and has been a committed supporter of projects he believed in. He counted his time on the Vancouver Christian School board as one of his most satisfying.
Rudy’s passions away from Real Estate included traveling with his wife Catharina, reading about the Second World War, fine dining, his 19 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Darcy White | President
Since 2000 Darcy has been the Manager of Ydenberg Properties Ltd. His responsibilities include day-to-day operations, maintenance, leasing, and acquisitions.
Outside of work Darcy serves on the Board of Directors for Langley Christian School, as a Director of Langford Fellowship and is a friend of Covenant House (Vancouver) and Night Shift (Surrey).
Darcy gigs regularly on bass and guitar with various local musicians, tramps local (and not so local) mountains with his friends, skis & golfs enthusiastically, gardens with his three girls and enjoys savouring Vancouver’s best restaurants with his wife Karen.
Kim Breedveld | Financial Services Administrator
Kim has more than 25 years experience in financial services. At Ydenberg Properties Kim is responsible for all account services, payroll & lease administration.
Kim serves her church, Willoughby CRC by leading some of the children’s programs both on Sundays and Tuesday nights. She has also been an active volunteer in other Langley charities including Canadian Cancer Society and Relay for Life.
Kim loves camping with her family, housework, traveling to hot sunny destinations, and entertaining the hoards of young people that seem to linger at her house.
Karen Ydenberg – White | Marketing and Human Resources
Karen joined Ydenberg Properties Ltd in 2004 as an administrative assistant.
Karen serves on the Friends of Langley Christian School committee and Hope Community Church’s Worship Arts Committee.
Local Opera and Music Theatre fans will recognize Karen from the main stage and chorus roles at Vancouver Opera, Edmonton Opera, and The Playhouse Theatre. Karen is also half of the Comic Opera duo: Leave it to Diva. Karen has a bag already packed for any kind of travel, and loves her three children.
Jason Ydenberg | Manager
Jason began investing in real estate in 2012, at age 23 and now holds a Rental Property Management Licensing certificate from UBC. He plans to continue the family traditions and his grandfather’s legacy at YPL. Jason is creative and an adventurer who enjoys spending his spare time with family, conversing/playing board games with friends, running, drinking/brewing craft beer, hiking, panning for gold, playing the guitar, crab trapping, boating, firearms and training his dog “Merv”.
